Pet Waste Bags Available at City Hall

for Walks on West Orange Trail

The West Orange Trail, which runs through downtown, is ideal for walks with Fido. While leashed pets are welcome along the trail, the pet waste that is sometimes left behind can harm the environment. During rainfall, pet waste left on the trail and sidewalks washes into storm drains. The bacteria in the pet waste ends up flowing directly into community streams and lakes causing harm to human health and the ecosystem.

To assist with the cleanup, complimentary pet waste bags, in a bone-shaped dispenser, are available for pickup at Winter Garden City Hall (300 W. Plant Street) reception desk during regular business hours. You can attach the convenient dispenser to a leash or belt loop. That way, the bags will be accessible when needed, keeping you and your pet happy and the trail hygienic.

For more information, call 407.877.5193.

Always…Patsy Cline is more than a tribute to the legendary country singer who died tragically at age 30 in a plane crash in 1963. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan from Houston named Louise Seger, who befriended the star in a Texas honky-tonk in l961 and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death. The musical play, complete with down-home country humor, sincere emotion, and a heartwarming look at a special friendship, includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams,” and “Walking After Midnight” -- 27 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS…Patsy Cline.”

Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more, military, first responders, teachers, seniors, and students.
