Supporting Local Businesses
There are a variety of shopping events and shop local initiatives that encourage and promote shopping local. Please be sure to support your favorite local businesses, and discover new ones, throughout the year and on Small Business Saturday which is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
Winter Garden has over 2,000 businesses, with the majority being locally owned small businesses. Many of the people who own and work at one of these businesses are also residents within our community. Supporting local businesses is the easiest way to bolster your local economy and improve the wealth of your community. For every dollar spent locally, 45 cents stays right here while only 13 cents stays here when you shop at a national store.
